Giving Back to the Community
At our core, we believe in lifting up our community however we can. You’ll see stickers on our cars with the Dubuque Domestic Violence Shelter and Suicide Helpline numbers—a small reminder that help is always out there if someone needs it.
We’ve collected items for the Domestic Violence Shelter, gathered food donations through Resources Unite, and each Christmas, we choose a charity to support by purchasing items they need most. Our team has even offered services at a reduced cost—or sometimes free—for people going through especially difficult times.
One thing we’re especially proud of is our “Spread the Love” Peanut Butter Drive, which we host twice a year in January and June. Peanut butter is a simple, but essential item for many families, and we’ve been able to collect a meaningful amount over time to help support those facing food insecurity.
Our team has also donated their own time cleaning the local domestic violence shelter, helping create a peaceful, welcoming space for those who need it most. We’re also currently working on a partnership with Maria House to help clean units as residents move on to their next chapter—something we’re truly excited to be part of.
And in our own office, we’ve opened our hearts to Jamilla, our office cat. She was rescued after being abused in Egypt and brought to the United States to recover. After moving through six different foster homes, she finally found her forever home with us. She’s a daily reminder of resilience, compassion, and the importance of giving others a second chance.
We’re truly grateful for every opportunity we have to give back and make a difference, no matter how big or small.
